A multi-Grammy award winner will perform at the Mountain Arts Center this month.
Amy Grant, who has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, will perform at the MAC at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 28.
In a press release, the MAC said she has “one of the most recognizable voices in the music industry,” calling her voice “iconic and instantly recognizable.”
Grant has earned six Grammy awards and 26 Dove awards for her music, with her first award being presented in 1984 and her latest one being presented in 2007. She created three multi-platinum albums, six platinum albums and four gold albums during her career with songs that topped the charts in both the Christian music and pop genres.
In April 2016, Grant celebrated the 25th anniversary of her first pop hit, “Baby, Baby,” with a worldwide release of a new version of the song featuring pop musician and fellow Capitol Music Group recording artist Tori Kelly.
Grant resides with her family in Nashville, Tenn., and is widely known for her philanthropy through her nonprofit, The Helping Hands Foundation.
