City Perk of Prestonsburg hosted a reception last Thursday for artwork created by residents of Riverview Healthcare. Paintings by Lula Horne, below, and Ann Rowe, left, earned honors.

City Perk in Prestonsburg opened its doors last week to a new exhibit provided by Riverview Healthcare residents.

The business hosted a reception last Thursday for Riverview’s Creative Expressions Art Gallery.

“The elders of Riverview Healthcare have created some amazing works of art for this year’s gallery,” a statement from Riverview said.

The exhibit also featured a painting, “Waiting for a Friend,” by Riverview resident Lula Horne, who won Signature Healthcare’s “Reflect N Us Art Contest” this year. Riverview resident Ann Rowe also earned honors for her painting, “Splendid.”
