The Prestonsburg Police Department and its partners offered Christmas cheer to 56 children during the Christmas with a Cop program this year. Twenty six children selected by local schools and their siblings — for a total of 56 children — were treated to lunch, a visit with Santa, a pile of gifts and new bicycles and a tote full of food for Christmas dinner at the Mountain Arts Center. Afterwards, the children went shopping with officers and firefighters at Walmart.
