Vicki Ratliff

A Floyd County woman appeared in Floyd Circuit Court last week to face allegations that she sexually abused and raped a teenager.

Vicki Lynn Ratliff, 55, was indicted in June on one count of first-degree sexual abuse and one count of third-degree rape.

Commonwealth’s Attorney Brent Turner reported that Ratliff allegedly raped and sexually abused a 16-year-old male on or about March 4 in Prestonsburg.

Ratliff posted a $5,000 surety bond in the case in September, and her case has been sealed in circuit court.

She pleaded not guilty to the charges during her arraignment in Floyd Circuit Court on Oct. 24. Circuit Judge Thomas Smith scheduled a pretrial conference to be held on Jan. 9, 2020.
