Eldoris Frazier 

Eldoris Frazier, 88, formerly of McDowell, passed away Sept. 28, 2018, in Fairview Park, Ohio. Beloved husband of the late Willa Dean (nee Cook). Dear father of Steven Frazier and Angie Richardson. Step-father of Curtis L. Cook (deceased), William E Cook (Alice), Donna Fay Johnson Murdock (William ) and Jessa Lynn Cook Ray (Mike). Loving grandfather and great-grandfather. Preceded in death by many sisters and brothers.

Graveside services to be held Thursday, Oct. 11 at 1:30 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery,  Rittman, Ohio. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Jenkins Funeral Chapel of Westlake, Ohio.

Gary Greer

Gary Greer, 71 of East Point, passed away Tuesday Oct. 2, 2018, at his residence.

Born June 6, 1947 in Johnson County, Gary was the son of the late Willie and Gertrude Crider Greer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy (Ferguson) Greer; and one sister, Alice Mims. 

Gary is survived by two daughters, Kim and her husband, Todd Conley of Staffordsville, and Lisa and her husband, Greg Hopper of East Point; two brothers, Ronald (and Wanda) Greer of Tutor Key, and Paul Roger (Susie) Greer of Paintsville; one sister, Peggy Hall of Van Lear; three grandchildren, Olivia Hopper Caudill, Dalton Hopper and Peyton Conley; and one great-grandchild, Cooper Caudill also survives.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday Oct. 5, at the Little Paint First Church of God, 671 Little Paint Creek, East Point. Pastor Jeff White will officiate. 

Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made to the Little Paint First Church of God (littlepaint.org). 

Arrangements are under the direction of Phelps & Son Funeral Home of Hager Hill.
