On Feb. 6 the Floyd County Sheriff's Office released a statement announcing that pastor and former Floyd County Sheriff Doug Lewis had passed away. Lewis was elected as Kentucky's youngest sheriff and served as a commonwealth’s detective, as well as a pastor.
