On Friday, April 23, the Betsy Layne High School Esports team received approximately five new gaming computers, specifically built for Esports, courtesy of the Floyd County Board of Education, which also purchased and delivered computers to the Prestonsburg High School and Floyd County Central High School Esports teams as well on Friday. According to BL Esports coach Tyler Mullins, the team is very appreciative of the new computers, as it will allow members to have a proper space to meet and practice for competitions in-person, as opposed to having to interact out of their respective homes.
