On Dec. 19, City of Wheelwright officials dressed up in holiday costumes in order to help spread a little socially distanced, Christmas cheer to residents of the city. Although the city’s annual Santa Candy Run was a little different than year’s prior, due to COVID-19, city officials said they believed it was important to try and provide the children some positive and safe entertainment for the upcoming holiday. Officials rode and walked through the city in a socially-distanced manner, and any child who was standing in their driveway was able to receive a candy bag.
